DAVID W. HERBERT M.D.
Dr. Herbert was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University. His post-graduate studies in physiology were pursued at the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Dr. Maria Delavoria-Papadoupolus. He obtained his medical degree in 1987 followed by a year of internship at Reading Hospital and Medical Center. This was followed by residency in anesthesia at the University of Pennsylvania. During his final year at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Herbert was chief resident and specialized in the field of pain management.
Dr. Herbert moved to Arizona in 1991 and has been practicing invasive pain management for over 25 years. He is Board Certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management. He has extensive experience lecturing to physicians and other care takers in the arena of pain management. He has worked with physicians and surgeons in the medical pharmacologic management of pain.
In his free time, he likes traveling with his family. He also enjoys other activities such as Karate and weight lifting.
LAKSHMAN GOLLAPALLI, M.D.
Double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine
Dr. Gollapalli started out in Biomedical Engineering and went on to pursue a Master’s degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He was involved in medical imaging research during his master’s and enrolled in a PhD program. He was published in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr.G eventually decided to integrate the basic science of Biomedical Engineering with patient care, through a career in medicine. He attended medical school at St. George’s University and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University. Although he loved the practice of Anesthesiology, he found his true passion in the treatment of chronic pain. He returned to his Alma Mater and completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Wayne State University. He moved to Arizona to be closer to his family. He has over 10 yrs of experience in patient care with specialization in pain management and Anesthesiology.
He enjoys traveling, weight lifting, hiking, and spending time with his family.
JOY M. ANDREWS PA-C
Joy was raised in Mesa, Arizona and has worked in multiple disciplines in the medical field for over 20 years. She completed her initial undergraduate training in Radiologic Technology. She then attended Grand Canyon University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences. Following her Bachelor's Degree, she pursued her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University. Joy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Joy enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, cake decorating, and browsing through thrift stores, yard sales, and farmer's markets.
